About Champs Academy

Champs Academy is a family oriented, and fundamentals focused Martial Arts school located in Barrie, Ontario. They enable strength, focus, discipline and a sense of community in their students through Martial Arts. They offer Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, After School Care & Camps. Champs Academy’s mission is to empower their community to live happier and healthier lives.

Our Approach

When we first started working with Champs Academy their business had been completely wiped out by the Covid pandemic. They lost their martial arts school, lost the majority of their student base and were making under 1k/month from online classes. Our goal was to help generate a large influx of new students as soon as the lockdowns ended so that they could recover and have enough revenue coming in to move into a new facility.

We began with capturing content where we focused deeply on their story. We wanted to share with the community what had happened to their business and get the locals involved to help support their business. We then used their content in a Facebook Ads campaign and sent the traffic to custom landing pages we had designed. Our struggle was that Champs did not have a location at the time so they were running outdoor classes at local parks.

Once we launched the ad campaigns their community really resonated with their story and wanted to get involved to support their business. In their first month of running ads we generated 47 new students. Within 2 months of running ads Champs was able to move into a beautiful facility that they are still in to this day.

In just over 2 years of working with them we grew them to $62k/month and to 307 students. Champs is now on track to hitting $100k/month by the end of 2023. They are also going to be opening 2-3 more locations next year.
